Creating a Shareable Data PackageΒΆ

WHAT IS A SHAREABLE DATA PACKAGE?

  • Zip archive produced locally, to be submitted to a repository
  • Includes the subset of study files and Standard Data Package Metadata files from your data package that you want to share to a repository

  • More than one 'flavor' possible depending on how and when you want to share specific files or sets of files; For example, you may want to:

    • Share some files as open-access right away
    • Share some files as managed-access right away
    • Share some files as open-access, after a certain date (e.g. manuscript published, intellectual property secured)
    • Share some files as managed-access, after a certain date (e.g. manuscript published, intellectual property secured)
